Support of additional relays

For the relay and control units which are not placed in the central switching knot, in Audi A4 also under a control panel so-called support of additional relays are established:

  • The 13-seater support of additional relays is placed over the central switching knot.
  • The 8-seater support of additional relays is in a certain degree at the second level ahead under the central switching knot and a 13-seater support of additional relays. Except numerous relays and control units, various thermosafety locks are placed here.

Placement of nests of "a 13-seater support of additional relays". What knots are connected there, is explained in the table.

At the left: "the 8-seater support (shooter) of additional relays" settles down under the central switching knot, and on it along with the relay (1) also various thermosafety locks in addition are placed (2).
