Check of the moment of ignition

In systems of ignition of Audi without distributor it is impossible to regulate the ignition moment. At distributive ignition with the engine of 74 kW adjustment of ignition is checked by a workshop within technical inspection. For this purpose, first of all, the computer is interrogated. Then the control unit of ignition/injection is given to a basic position. It also becomes by means of the device for reading of the computer.

Most it does not make sense to correct ignition installation if in the beginning there was no schitan information in the computer. As our self-training control units, they can carry out the corresponding adjustment of ignition if, for example, one signal of the sensor dropped out. Before something is changed in ignition installation, it is necessary to be convinced in the beginning that any defect in system did not distort ignition installation.

The same belongs to so-called main installation by means of the device for reading of the V.A.G 1551 computer. Until the control unit is given to a condition of the main installation, correct adjustment cannot be carried out. Therefore the most suitable partner in this work is Audi workshop. The workshop makes check in the following parameters: control size: 0–12 °; adjusting size 0±3 °.
