The engine of screen wipers or the bringing wire is faulty?

To dismantle the engine of screen wipers, it is necessary to remove the left part of black facing under a windshield. For this purpose turn a coin rotary clamps (1 and 2) to the left and remove both metal clips (3 and 4) at bottom edge.

Lever the screen wiper mechanism together with the engine can be taken out from a box by rotation at the dismantled facing after weakening of three fixing screws (1-3).

To find out, whether as it should be the engine of screen wipers or the bringing wire and the switch, will help you the following check:

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Dismantle the engine of screen wipers together with the lever mechanism.
Disconnect the mnogoshtyrkovy socket on the engine of screen wipers.
Now two auxiliary wires are laid. One from accumulator plus to the plug 53 or 53b (sockets of a black/grey or green/yellow wire).
The second wire is laid from accumulator minus to the plug 31 on the engine of screen wipers (there where the brown wire was connected).
The screen wiper has to, depending on the used plug now, to work at a step of I or II. If it does not work, is faulty.
If it works now, defect in the switch or the bringing wire.

Dismantle of the engine of screen wipers

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Include ignition and bring screen wipers into final situation.
Dismantle levers of screen wipers.
Dismantle the left part of black plastic facing under a windshield. For this purpose a coin turn on a quarter of a turn a rotary clamp to the left and in addition wring out both metal clips below on facing.
Unscrew a cover of an electronic box.
Weaken two fixing nuts outside and inside on the lower part of an electronic box.
Take out a fixing thorn of an electronic box from an eye and slightly shift a box forward.
Unscrew two bolts with six-sided heads above on axes of screen wipers and one below on their engine.
Dismantle the lever mechanism together with the engine of screen wipers.
Disconnect the mnogoshtyrkovy socket on the engine of screen wipers.
Wring out the operating bars to axes of screen wipers.
Unscrew three screws on the engine of screen wipers. To reach all screws, it is necessary to turn a little further a crank of the engine of screen wipers.

Installation of the new engine of screen wipers

For installation of the new engine of screen wipers or if the old engine was removed from the fixing console:

In the photo it is shown how the crank of the engine of a screen wiper (shooter) has to settle down at installation: it is parallel to the operating screen wiper lever bar from the passenger near the driver.

Sprays of system of washing of glasses are so correctly adjusted: and = 235 mm, b = 445 mm, with = 80 mm, d = 620 mm.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Connect the engine to power supply and let's it work a little. Switch off and wait until it does not return to the provision of a parking.
Mount the engine in the console, establish a crank of the drive and a bar of screen wipers.
The operating bar of the left axis of screen wipers goes down on an engine crank, the bar approaches the right axis of a screen wiper on an engine crank from above.
Screw a crank of the drive so that it was in the situation shown in the photo above.
If not to fix a crank of the drive in this certain situation, the screen wiper lever in a start of motion will go at first down.
Mount the engine assembled with the lever mechanism.
