Oil choice with the correct specification
As at relative big intervals between replacement of oil through 15 000 km there is a danger of formation of an oil deposit, Audi gives in this regard strict instructions:
- Usual engine oil on the basis of mineral oil has to conform to the VW 501 01 standard. Only then it possesses the necessary clearing properties preventing formation of an oil deposit.
- Very fluid oils reduce internal friction in the engine. They have to conform to the VW 500 00 standard.
- Only in the absence of oils of the called specifications it is possible to use all-weather or seasonal oil of the category API SF or API SG.
