Air filter and channels of absorption
The soaked-up air contains particles of dust and dirt which should not get to combustion chambers as they act on walls of cylinders as an emery paper. It would cause premature wear of pistons and the directing cylinders. Therefore the air filter provides necessary protection of the engine. At the same time it extinguishes noise from air absorption.
