Replacement of system of an exhaust

Ahead on a transmission the system of an exhaust is suspended on a metal arm. Above: the arm is suspended on a rubber-metal support (1), below the necessary elasticity is provided with a spiral spring (2).


Workshops prefer to change system of an exhaust entirely. We do not recommend to do it at once and not elaborately as all details of system of an exhaust of Audi are on sale separately, including the intermediate and terminal mufflers consisting of one detail in original system. Dismantle of the separate muffler can be carried out without special expenses, in the beginning check, and then replace:

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Carefully tap a hammer still serviceable details of system of an exhaust, including the face parties. Knock rather strongly
  2. If at each blow the ringing sound, metal still the strong is heard.
  3. If knock in some places sounds more deafly, the external surface already weakened and will soon give way, especially in the winter.
  4. Upon purchase of spare parts it is necessary to consider that fact that laying and the self-stopped nuts have to be replaced with the new.
