Thermostat

Simply speaking, the thermostat is intended to define, whether it is necessary to cool liquid in a radiator or not, i.e. he "makes the decision" on, whether cooling liquid on "small" or on a "big" circle about what it was already told at the beginning of the head has to circulate.

The thermostat regulates a stream of cooling liquid depending on its temperature. While temperature of cooling liquid increases, the thermostat increases a stream of cold liquid from a radiator. On the contrary, if working temperature falls, the thermostat spring again wrings out a valvate plate in situation "Zu" "is closed" (German) and, thus, blocks inflow of the cooled-down cooling liquid until operational temperature again does not rise.
