Fuel-supply lines

In our engines with fuel injection hoses and fuel pipes have to maintain pressure more than in 5 bars. Therefore hoses are made of the material steady against pressure, and in junctions are in most cases screwed together or supplied with tightening collars.

Dismantle of fuel-supply lines and fuel hoses

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Purity – the basic law during the works on fuel system. You have to clear previously at least of dirt that area where work will be performed in order that dirt did not get to open fuel-supply lines.
  2. Weakening of tightening collars: nippers flatten out a metal loop on its perimeter. At the expense of it tightening the collar extends, and the fuel hose can be removed rotary motions.
  3. If it is impossible, establish a rozhkovy key on edge of a hose and wring out them a hose.
  4. At installation you have to use the screw instead of tightening collars.

     Important: the fuel system still long time after switching off of the engine can be under pressure.

  5. When unscrewing a fuel pipe keep in readiness a rag in order that to you gasoline did not scatter in eyes.
