Idling adjustment
In all Audi A4 models there is an automatic adjustment of turns of idling. The adjusting screw is already not present by which already it can be adjusted nothing. If idling turns wrong, they are checked. Under the correct conditions of check the number of turns has to be adjusted to 680–820 rpm (the engine of 2,6 l) or 700–800 rpm (the engine of 2,8 l). If is not present, then:
- Check all knots of system of absorption (hoses, laying) for tightness. The getting additional air can change so strongly number of turns of idling that the idling stabilization valve will not be able even to level them.
- Consider in a workshop the computer with a memory of malfunctions. Perhaps, in system there is other defect.
