Battery charging

Connection of the home charger


  1. Connect a positive wire of the charger to accumulator plus, a minus wire to accumulator minus.
  2. At charging the accumulator can remain installed in the car.
  3. If the home charger weak, a wire of the accumulator it is possible not to switch-off.
  4. Accumulator traffic jams can remain screwed up. The gas which is formed at a battery charging can be removed through air vents in traffic jams.
  5. Charging current has to make about 10% of capacity of the accumulator in the beginning (for example, 7 A at the accumulator at 70 A o'clock) and automatically to decrease in the course of a battery charging.
  6. The accumulator is considered completely loaded if within two hours acid density in it does not increase.
  7. During a battery charging the distilled water partially decays. Vials of gas are formed of hydrogen and oxygen – the detonating gas possessing high explosive ability.
  8. Therefore it is necessary to take care of good ventilation of the room especially in case the accumulator is charged with powerful current.
  9. At a battery charging it is impossible to smoke near it and to use naked flame.
  10. Detonating gas can also ignite from the sparking arising at connection and shutdown charging the device or wires.
