Safety cushion

Before work on a safety cushion it is necessary to take out the red shtekerny socket (1 and 2) of an arm (3) on the right on a control panel and to disconnect. |

The safety cushion module in a steering wheel is dismantled after weakening of both screw connections (in figure "1" it is shown left) on a reverse side of a steering wheel. |
On Audi A4 serial safety cushions from the driver and the passenger near the driver are put. Under a big shock plate in the middle of a steering wheel or under a contour a control panel is on one air bag on the right. Ignition happens at collision with a rigid obstacle in speed not less than 18 km/h or at a bigger speed at collision of two cars. Force of blow is determined by the starting arrangement which is ahead under the average console. It also puts in action "a cartridge of ignition" in a steering wheel or in a control panel. The safety cushion provides protection only in combination with seat belts.
