Check of a corrosion-resistant coating of the bottom

The protective layer needs to be checked for the bottom of the car carefully and if it is necessary, to renew. It can be done if have reliable possibility of raising of Audi (the elevator, a ramp).

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Carefully wash out the bottom.
Examine all bottom with a bright lamp regarding existence of damages.
Clear the damaged places in a protective layer the pallet, a shaber and a wire brush to pure metal.
Whenever possible to a soshlifuyta a rust raid to pure metal.
Grease the cleared sites with paint on the basis of zinc dust as an anticorrosive primer.
Equal or larger surfaces are processed by the material capable to be smeared.

In remote gaps and in corners it is better to use anticorrosive spray.

Important: renew a bituminous corrosion-resistant coating of the bottom of the car only bituminous material, eliminate defects of a synthetic corrosion-resistant coating in wheel niches only with polyvinyl chloride anticorrosive material.

Council: For renewal of a corrosion-resistant coating it is possible to use only certain materials. Improper substances corrode a serial corrosion-resistant coating. Along with production of VW/Audi sprays and pastes are suitable for spreading of Teroson firm.

When spraying anticorrosive substance it is necessary to cover brakes with paper or a synthetic film for protection against the sprayed sticky material.
