Mirror of the external review

Dismantle of a mirror assembled

1 – fixing screw;
2 – a shaped detail from polyfoam for a noise isolation;

3 – mnogoshtyrkovy socket.

1 – black facing below under a mirror;

Replacement of mirror glass

Mirror glasses in mirrors of Audi A4 fasten only spring clips. Dismantle:

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Weaken below on a mirror both screws with crosswise heads and remove black facing.
  2. Shift thus facing aside to take out clamps.
  3. Put on working gloves if there are chips.
  4. Through an opening in the bottom of a mirror it is possible to reach several clamps with which mirror glass to a servomotor fastens.
  5. Take out available clamps from grooves a screw-driver – then it is possible to wring out glass completely.
  6. Disconnect the socket of heating of a mirror.
  7. At installation insert mirror glass into frictional springs on the case. Establish glass on a ring of a servomotor and press so that it entered clamps.
  8. Press the middle of glass and again put on gloves.

Dismantle of the case of a mirror

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Dismantle mirror glass.
  2. Unscrew a servomotor and remove.
  3. Unscrew three screws and remove the case from an arm up.

Dismantle of a mirror assembled

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Wring out the black decorative triangular panel in a triangle of forward lateral glass from within.
  2. Disconnect the mnogoshtyrkovy socket.
  3. Unscrew the fixing screw of a leg of a mirror.
  4. Remove a mirror assembled.
