Ignition lock

At the dismantled facing of a steering column both secret screws (1 and 2) which fix ignition lock switch knot on the lock are visible. The figure "3" showed the socket connected to switch knot.


On the lock of ignition (2) the receiver (1) respondent of the lock of ignition which if necessary intensifies blocking of departure of the car is placed.

In this section we will consider electric knot of the lock of ignition. But the workshop has to carry out repair of the castle mechanism.

Dismantle of knot of the switch of the lock of ignition

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Dismantle facing of a steering column above and below as it is described in the section Switches.
  2. Remove a varnish on the press and weaken two small secret screws above and below on an ignition lock switch knot arm.
  3. Remove switch knot down.
  4. At installation of new knot of the switch track that the pin of control of the lock entered dredging on switch knot.
  5. Screw up secret screws and fix them a varnish drop.

Breakage of the lock of ignition

This description will not make of you the car thief, and significantly will help to continue a trip at defect in the ignition lock. Despite it, the ignition key has to be, at least because of presence of the respondent of blocking of departure of the car. Certainly, it also has to turn in the lock in order that it was possible to remove blocking of a wheel. At defects in the lock of management you should not continue a trip, differently blocking of a wheel can work during the movement.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Dismantle a reception pocket under a control panel at the left (the head Salon).
  2. Disconnect the mnogoshtyrkovy socket on the ignition lock. Sockets of wires which have to become isolated nakorotko, are naked now.
  3. Connect now, for example, an office paper clip, contacts of one of two thick red wires with contact of a black wire. Thanks to it ignition joins.
  4. For start of the engine make to yourself the isolated second crossing point of a wire which connects to a red/black wire in the beginning.
  5. Apply the second crossing point for a moment to already existing crossing point, and at once clean as soon as the starter starts the engine.
  6. It is better to clean the second crossing point absolutely, and it is good to insulate the first in order that it could not touch the bared details. Otherwise powerful short circuit since red wires have no safety lock will turn out.
  7. To switch off the engine, clean a crossing point between a red and black wire.
