Auxiliary devices

As a special complete set below on the right and at the left two additional devices – the sensor of temperature of oil and the voltmeter can be installed in the combined device. Check:

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Oil temperature sensor: disconnect a wire from the sensor (about assembly situation see in the following section), apply to weight.
  2. If the arrow of the tool does not deviate, defect in the bringing wire, the microprocessor or the device.
  3. Otherwise the reason in the sensor.
  4. Voltmeter: check tension on voltmeter sockets at the disassembled combined device (the socket is connected).
  5. If tension is, but there is no indication, the device is faulty.

Assembly position of the sensor of temperature of oil

  • Four-cylinder engine: The sensor is on a flange of an oil filter at the left on the engine. Color of a wire: the blue/white.
  • Six-cylinder engine: The sensor of temperature of oil is at the left below on the forward party of the engine. Because of its inaccessibility of a wire to the sensor are united in one shtekerny socket behind on the left head of the block of cylinders. Colors of wires of shtekerny connection: black/brown from the oil temperature sensor to the socket; blue/white from the socket to the combined device. Other wires of the socket: white/grey to the oil pressure switch.

The sensor (1) indicator of temperature of oil and the sensor of pressure of oil (2) are in the four-cylinder engine on a flange of an oil filter on the left side of the engine.
