The gulf of liquid for washing of glasses

Constant control

  4. The tank from two parts is installed in cars with the turbo engine and system of washing of glasses for the sake of economy of a place. One tank settles down – as in all models – under a wing, hidden in a wheel niche. The second tank settles down precisely opposite inside in a motive compartment.
  5. In the beginning pour an additive and then water in order that liquids in a tank well mixed up.
  6. In the car without the warmed water sprays (are available in "a winter package") sprays can freeze through at a hard frost.
  7. For prevention it is recommended to use higher concentration of antifreeze. Admixture of denatured alcohol in combination with antifreeze can lead to formation of flakes and to a blockage snuffled sprays.

  3. Turn a nozzle until streams of water do not fall on a windshield as is shown in drawing.

Water nozzles with an electrical heating

Despite antifreeze admixture, liquid for washing of glasses can freeze in forward raspylitelny nozzles because of a head wind. From it the device for heating helps snuffled, available in "a winter package".

Directly before nozzles there is a metal case with a temperature and dependent heating resistance. At inclusion of ignition (plug X) on this resistance tension arrives. Nozzles quickly thaw at a frost at the expense of initial current of big force (0,5-0,7 A). For maintenance of temperature current after a phase of warming up falls approximately to 200 ma. If air temperature falls below -15 °C, current of support of temperature raises to 320 ma.

Search of malfunctions

  1. Having opened a cowl, disconnect the shtekerny socket of a nozzle.
  2. Tension indicator at the included ignition check, whether there is tension or whether as it should be connection with weight.
  3. If is not present, then find a gap in a wire.
  4. If with giving of tension everything is all right, it is necessary to replace a nozzle.
